AH! Summer of Ska was amazing. Seriously. The trip. The show. Everything. The ride down was fun. Pretty much I love the people i went with: Nola, Kyle & Christina were all awesome. We spent the time joking around and singing and trying not to fall asleep. Oh and we almost got ass raped by an ambulance.

The show: jlkdrhaiwheahrjeaj. Oh my god. Best ska show I’ve ever been to. We met Amber there, and I decided I absolutely love her. She’s amazing. She’s resilient, and beautiful, and talented and amazing. Soooo then we watched some bands. The first band was Westbound Train. I love them. The second was Suburban Legends. I cant fucking stand them. Basically they were like the Backstreet Boys with plastic instruments. plastic horns. Yup. Imagine Poppunkyska with choreographed dance moves. Basically made me want to vomit. Next was The Pietasters. Whom I adore. Love love love love. Then Voodoo Glowskulls. They put on a good show. Not really my type of ska but it was okay and fun to watch. Then, comes the biggies. Catch 22 played first. I elbowed my way up to the front and kicked two guys out of my way so that I could be right along the guardrail in front of the stage. I was sort of disappointed with their set. They played a lot of their new songs, which I don’t really like that much. But oh well. They played 1234 =). Definitely not the best I’ve seen of them, but that’s alright. They’re probably burnt out anyway. BIG D played Last. I love Big D. Seriously. The show last night gave me a new love for them. The set was amazing. Lots of diversity. They played New England, which I havent heard them play live before and it was awesome. And Find Out, which is basically my favorite Big D song. People in the crowd sucked though. The guy next to me was a douche and people were crowd surfing, which was annoying. The security guards rocked. They bit open the bottoms of water bottles and squirted us all with them. And then the one guy in front of us gave Nola and I like 6 bottles of water each, which was awesome considering you had to pay 3 bucks to buy a bottle.
