If this were 25 years ago, this what I am reading could be mine. Nothing is wrong with you...all is sane and normal. Embrace your growth. Growth is difficult...think of how painful it is for a spring to arrive.

I was once told that spring, what we all know is a beautiful season of fresh air and new life is the the most painful of seasons.

How can that be? It's so wonderful, everything has been cold and dead and now we have new life and activity!! (you - new college after growing tired of h.s. etc)

Think about it, how does that new growth happen? It starts with a seed, it has to break open from it's seed. It has to struggle to push through the dirt. It is constantly reaching for something...the sun, the water, nutrients for growth. It has to crack the crust of the dirt that has been lifeless for a season. Finally...finally, it starts to feel the sun! THE SUN! It knows it's going to blossom into something beautiful, but the journey is still a ways away. It still has to grow, to develop, to refine itself in the image it desires to become. It finally reaches that point where it becomes what it's worked so hard to be. A beautiful flower, unfolding itself to be enjoyed by all.

You see, what we forget...what we forgot...is the struggle it takes on the journey of growth to become...to just become...to just BE!!

You will BE the spring, feel the journey...experience the growth.

I love you so much sweetie!
